Spidey is back! Opening in 3D and 2D theaters on July 3rd, 2012, "The Amazing Spider-Man" stars Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) as Spiderman and the hot Emma Stone (Superbad) as his love Gwen Stacy. "The Amazing Spider-Man" is being directed by Marc Webb. Marc Webb has only directed one feature length film before (500 Days of Summer). This may worry some with a unknown director taking on this big of a project, the rest of the cast may make up for that fact.
The film also stars Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill), Campbell Scott (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Singles), Irrfan Khan (Slumdog Millionaire), Martin Sheen (Apocalypse Now, The Departed, The West Wing), Sally Field (Forrest Gump, Mrs. Doubtfire) and one of the best comedians ever Denis Leary (Rescue Me, The Sandlot, Ice Age and the singer/writer of the infamous song I'm An Asshole).
